Marissa High has written and directed for CollegeHumor and Squirrel Fight Comedy. She creatively consulted for companies such as Sid Lee, Big Breakfast, and Rose & Tool.
The CollegeHumor video she co-wrote and directed, "Tips for New Year's Eve" has over a million views and was the #5 trending video on YouTube the day it debuted.
Her short film "Safe,” which she wrote and directed, was an official selection at LA Shorts International Film Festival, Capital City Film Festival, New York International Film Festival, San Francisco Black Film Festival, Shetown Detroit Film Festival and Women of African Descent Film Festival.
Her screenplay, At Home, was a Semifinalist in the 2018 ScreenCraft Short Screenplay Competition, a Quarterfinalist at the 2018 PAGE International Screenwriting Competition, a Quarterfinalist at the Fall 2017 ScreenCraft Film Fund, and a Top Four candidate for the Fall 2018 Women in Film Production Program.
